Marian Yeager (writer / director / producer)
Marian is both writer and director with an appreciation for visual detail. She graduated from the College of Santa Fe with a degree in the Moving Image. She has written, directed and produced several short films. This April Marian’s newest music video Shelly Knight and the Livin’ Dead’s “Radio” won a Bronze award at the Houston Worldfest. In October 2004 Marian participated in the Alamodraft House 1st annual Bloodshot 48 hour film challenge and took home the Best of Austin Audience Choice Award for her short film, 2 White Kids with Problems. Her 1st short to be shot on 16mm, Once a Storm, received an official section at the Crested Butte Reel Festival and The Desert Reel Festival. Her more experimental music video Guy Forythe’s “Children of Jack” won the Gold Award at Houston Worldfest as well as the Bronze Award at The Flagstaff Film Festival. Marian started in film in the art department on such films as The Cowboy Way, The Last Outlaw, Children of the Corn 4 and on the TV series Walker Texas Ranger. Marian now works as a script supervisor in Austin, Texas. She has learned a great deal observing the directors she’s worked for.
Dan Parsons (director of photography)
Dan attended the New York Film Academy. Upon completion of the program Dan has worked on six features including Texas, America, 17 short films, and several commercials. He’s traveled from Boston to San Francisco. Having worked with several award-winning directors, Dan was recently accepted to the Chapman MFA program in Los Angeles, CA.
Frank Reynolds (editor)
Frank has edited seven feature films. One of his most notable films is Todd Field’s In the Bedroom, which won a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and was nominated for an Oscar. His other films include the 1999 Fine Line release Man of the Century (which played at South By Southwest in 1999). The cult film Tromeo and Juliet, M. Night Shyamalan’s first film, Praying with Anger and in 2001edited Marian’s film Once a Storm.
Elizabeth Yeager (producer / writer)
Elizabeth has been co-producing with Marian Yeager since 2000. She is the other half of MY Productions and Marian’s right arm throughout the filmmaking process. Elizabeth has been instrumental in getting many of MY Productions shorts into production. She played a pivotal role in keeping Once a Storm, a short 16mm film on track and under budget and was responsible for landing, Once a Storm, on Ifilm. Elizabeth worked as the producer and all around trouble shooter on the 2 White Kids with Problems. Blue Suede Wings is co-written by Elizabeth. This is her first venture into screenwriting.
Raymond Muniz (composer)
Born to a musical family, Austin film composer Raymond Muniz started his musical journey at a young age. Since then Raymond has scored over a dozen films like, What a Man’s Gotta Do, Slim and Shorty vs. Evil, Tower to Tower, 2 White Kids with Problems. Raymond won the International Award of “best score for a short film” at the New York International Independent Film Festival. Recently, Raymond and Partner Eric Doggett opened Moondog Media a music, sound, & audio post house.
Monica Lund (producer / accountant)
Monica received her Bachelor of Business Admin in Finance from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. For 7 years Monica has been an accountant including a year in operations management. Monica’s first experience on a film set was at the beginning of 2003 working on MY Productions short film The Cell Phone. Monica enjoyed it so much that she’s been working with MY Production to get this new project off the ground and stayed up all night to help bring 2 White Kids with Problems to completion. She has been an asset with her business experience and accounting skills but has also been irreplaceable for the crafting of the script Blue Suede Wings. Monica has completed two feature film scripts of her own.
